7th January 2007 - Welcome to another new year - I still wonder where last year went! The year's seem to fly by, must be my age!

The new membership and training costs are now displayed on the club website and the word document can also be downloaded from this website. (Word Document) You will note that many of the prices have not moved since last year as the club has made a big effort to keep costs down to the minimum and the area which has seen the biggest increase is with entry fees as the council continue to increase our pool fees. I wonder how the council would generate its income if it didn't have the income gained from us and Kingfishers!

You can obtain many historical reports covering the club's activities from 1999 onwards by using the year links to the left, which will take you to the old 'what's new' page for that year. Hopefully, most of the links on the what's new pages will work and you get to what you are looking for.

Historical links can be found on the links noted on the left, and 2006 archive material can be found on the aptly named 'archive' page, when links from 2006 onwards will appear.

The people that look after your club's interest can be found on the Committee 2007 page.

Much of the information relating to our club can be found on the "Contents" page.

13th January 2007 - There have been a number of changes and updates which are to be expected in a new year. The write up for the club championships is near completion and will appear on these pages soon. As I am no longer the press officer, after finally giving up the job after seven years, the success of this website will depend on submissions from other club members, and it is hoped that reports, results and other items of interest are forwarded to the website publisher - yours truly in order for the website to remain as fresh and as interesting as possible. If you have anything you consider of interest to your club members, please forward it to me at Paul Yeoman

Club members are now back into full training in readiness for an assault on this this year's Premier Division of the Ridings, where the 'big four' clubs from the area meet. This club will have to be on top of its game, as one will go down at the end, and our club is proud of its continued participation in the top flight throughout the Ridings era.

The first league action however, will be in the Pocklington Division 1, on the 10th February, where again, we will meet with stiff opposition in the form of Wakefield, Askern and South Holderness. We look forward to having maximum support to push the swimmers along!

16th January 2007 - More entries continue to pour in for our A & B Annual Gala in June, and the club welcomes Sheffield City as the latest club to be added to those attending our meet.

Brian Sweeney is the clubs new press officer, so if you have anything which is of interest, please feel free to contact him.

28th January 2007 - A large report for the club's swimming championships which took place during the latter part of last year has finally been finished, and can be read here if you wish.
