2nd "In the Zone" Seaside Sprints

Saturday 14th February 2009

RESULTS

PROGRAMME

Welcome to the club's second "In the Zone" Valentine Gala. This is where 100m I.M. leads into the 'Valentine' Mixed Pair Skins Finals. Rather than swimming in age groups and grades, swimmers compete in 6 Zones depending upon their entry time. This approach will mean that younger swimmers are not restricted by being too fast for their age group or older swimmers for being too slow! Each Zone has an improvement allowance: 0.5s for 50m events and 1 second for 100m I.M.

Events: 50m individual strokes: Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly & Front Crawl

The competition is open to swimmers in the aged 9 years and older on 14th February 2009 and who qualify within the published times.

Awards:
For each Zone: Medals 1st to 3rd, plus additional awards depending upon numbers in each Zone.

Skins: 1st team= £50 Each losing team= £10
